I just burned my first DVD and plays fine on the DVD player. But the problem is, is it's not in color. It's in black and white and looks a little pixlated. Would anyone know a possible fix to this? Thanks!

How does it play/look on your computer? What are the details on the source file? How did you make your DVD? What software, methods or guide did you use?

If you give details we can help figure out where you might improve your product.

Well, I didn't play it on my computer, I played it on my tv dvd player. I burned it with DVDSanta in PAL format or whatever that is. The source file is .avi with DivX v3 codec.

    Hi ldham,

Where are you in the world? Hint: Update your profile...

The reason I ask is that it sounds like it could be that your DVD player and / or TV don't play PAL, as I'm guessing (statistacally for this site) that you're in the US or thereabouts (also based on the time your posting...).

If that's the case, you need to re-do everything you've done exactly the same except use an NTSC template.
