Ok,
I want to convert a film form DivX to SVCD using Tmpgenc.
The divx is a full film in 'normal' format - (not exactly sure what this is but it is widescreen with borders)
I want the SVCD to maintain this aspect ratio - but I don't know what settings to use to preserve this.
My tv will display 50 or 60 hz but is NOT widescreen. (DVD player will also do both)
so....any ideas of which settings to use to do this?
the file is around 700megs - what sort of bitrate do I use to get this on 2 cds @ decent quality?
Thanks![]()

Hmm... not sure but if the DivX already has borders above and below the movie you should just set input and output to 1:1 VGA i believe and you should get to keep thesame borders.
