    Hello,

    I have captured homemovies from vhs tape, made mpeg 2 from the avi's also (still have the avi's).

    What do I need to do to make DVD movie from this that can play on a standalone dvd player?

    The mpeg-2's you have created need to be DVD compliant (see Here ).

    Then you need to author thos files to the DVD structure. See here .
