How do I remove the black bars on top and bottom of widescreen DVD's on TMPGenc?

why do you want full screen...widescreen is much better your pivture wont look like it was streched...well if you still wan tit to full screen change the aspect ratio to
4:3(NTSC 780x480)

if you don't want it stretched you must clip left and right

You could invest in a Widescreen TV- for a bigger picture - although, depending on the aspect ratio of the film, you may still get thin black bars. Simple fact for ws picture: the picture you see is waht you see at the cinema. If you wanna cut it up - go ahead.
