I'm creating subtitles for a feature length project. I'm about 2/3 into it, and suddenly it will not let me edit new titles. It lets me create new blank titles, but when I click to edit them, I'm sent back to the first title at the beginning and forced to re-edit that one.

I'm using DVDSP 1.5, on a G3 with OS X.2.8. Is there an upper limit to the number of titles a project can have? This show is very dense with dialog, and I've probably made 300-400 titles for it so far.

I know the max number of streams is 32 for subtitles,
aside from that I do not know.

That is, you can have 32 subtitle streams per video title. There is no limit on how big each subtitle stream is. Just make sure you're not making a new subtitle stream for each frame of subs.
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."

That's all good, but the problem isn't with multiple streams.

I am creating one single stream. I am using DVDSP 1.5 Subtitle Editor. It has been going along just fine.... until now; for no apparant reason, the program throws me back to the FIRST subtitle when I try to edit a NEW subtitle. This is all within one single stream.

I have hit a wall. The program will not let me finish this stream. Does anyone know what it going on?
