  2. Are you talking about GUI for DVD Author or DVD Author GUI? They are 2 seperate programs. If you are talking about GUI for DVD Author, I can help.

  4. So let me see if I understand your situation right:
    1. You use TMPGENC for your mpeg2 d1 or 1/2 d1 encoding?
    2. You cannot click the Create button, but its not grayed out
    It looks like this:

First open Def. Settings with a blank project. Then make sure that you have specified the DVD Author.exe path, and the output folder. I'm also guessing that you want NTSC (USA Video). Here is my window, yours should look the same except don't worry about the directory of the intro file:

If that didn't fix the Create Button Problem, try using the Create Batch button. This will create a bunch of files including Author.xml and MainBatch.bat. You can edit Author.xml to change settings of the dvd, but that is probably unimportant to you at this time. So if you can get Create Batch to create these files in your folder, open the mainbatch.bat file, which will then create your dvd.
    I hope this works! [/list]

  6. That's great you got GUI for DVD Author working! I recently made my first dvd from GUI for DVD Author, it was a project that I had been compiling for several months- slideshows from classic car shows. It turned out great. One piece of advice about GUI for DVD Author though, the sides and top & bottom of the menu will get cut off slightly on the tv, so make sure not to do what I did and put your buttons too close to the side where they will get cut off. Other than that, happy dvd creating.
