I seem to have a huge number of audio codecs installed on my system. In some cases, there is more than one which handle the same format tag, and I worry that perhaps they are conflicting.
Can someone suggest a good way to manage audio codecs? And which ones do I really need?

Hi LisaB,
Your installed codecs can be managed from the Device Manager - accessed from the "System Properties" in your Windows Control Panel.
As for which ones do you really need - well, only you can decide that. AVICodec will be able to tell you which codecs are used by different media files. There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
Carpe diem.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
