I have another computer in my house, and it does not do this. So it is my PC. But i can't figure our why it happens with both programs....please help guys.....

    Do you have flash installed?

If not, then you need to install it.

    Why did you uninstall SP2?

You need it for the added security.

You could go into both IE and Firefox and see if Java is enabled.

I know this is basic but have you checked that images are enabled in the browsers?

    for IE:
Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Show Pictures (must be ticked).

    for FireFox:
Tools -> Options -> Web Features -> Load Images (must be ticked).

OK, are you using an Internet Accelerator? Some attempt to download all images in a batch first but many of the smaller images can get lost.

Are the images being blocked or are they just not displaying when the page loads?
If you click on page re-load do they appear? or if you right-click on the space where the image should be and select 'Show Picture' does it then get loaded?

A similar problem plagued a computer I had to troubleshoot. Do you run ZoneAlarm? Try uninstalling it and doing a clean install (without keeping your previous settings) of the latest basic version (not the Pro version trial). That solved it for me, after trying many things.
