WinDVR 3 crashes

Hi

I have InterVideo WinDVR 3 and when i capture from TV or VHS, WinDVR crashes and i cannot use it any further.I have tried reinstalling it with no siccess.

There is no help...
It is a buggy program which when it happens and works, you may like it.
But most of the time, it doesn't work and there are no way to force it work.

I use to like that application, but after I test it in detail, I can say that it is
not a good application overall. What it does is capturing at xxx x 288/240 and rescale to xxx x 576/480 when you set the bitrate less than 4000kb/s . When you set tue bitrate more than 4000kb/s is capturing at xxx x 576/480 but at the same time blends the fields.


Just for the info, the best current application for software mpeg 2 capture, imo, is mainconcept. 1.4.2. It is an encoder but it has a built in capture utility, that does a great job regarding this. A bit pricey, but it does software realtime mpeg 2 capture great with almost any card
