Question on a DVD-RW

If I start copying things onto a DVD-RW, when I go to add more things to it, how will I get to the point on thr disc where I left off and resume copying again?

I am using a standalone DVD-recorder and not a recorder with a pc.

All recorders keep track of the last recorded area and whether the disc is closed, whether PC or standalone.

Answer: it's automatic.
