The extended editions are 6.1??? I'll have to look at mine again. Not that it matters at the moment. I only have a 5.1 system

I'm waiting for 20.2. Which actually requires you to swallow a tiny little subwoofer every morning.

    Hello,

I said it before somewhere in off topic.

    I WANT 360.1!!!!!!

I want it to be a complete enclosure with a walk through speaker to enter the room. Than the subwoofer would be the actual floor!

Thats nothing. i can go one step further. what about 3D surround sound. what i mean by this is speakers loacted at different levels starting from the floor reaching up to the ceiling.

360.1 is still only 2D (all on the same level)

    Where would the TV/Screen be?

We gotta get with Star Trek and create Holodecks. It would be awesome to create a StarWars Universe and fight Sith as a Jedi with a real lightsaber. That would be cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8)

Can you imagine it ? Receiver £600, Speakers £500, speaker wire £5000. Then there's the wiring job to install that many bloody speakers. I'd snap like a twig attempting that litte lot

I heard that there were several scenes filmed with Christopher Lee that had been cut out of the theatrical version. Can't wait to see them put back in. He played a great character. It would be a shame not to see him at all in the 3rd film.

Thick door to be made out of speakers. I bet a room like that would generate a lot of heat. a little difficult to place a comfortable chair.

    I still want a holodeck.

None better. I'd also want the holodeck to put Hollywood Female celebs in my own private brothel house.

I saw the preview of the new scenes this summer. there is more Saruman, specifically the last confrontation with gandalf. when this was cut fro the theatrical release it ticked off Lee enough for him to boycott the premier of rotk. what will still be missing is the scouring of the shire.
