    When I try to play a certain .vob from my hardrive it skips. I have tried different players(vlc, powerdvd, winmedia player) and they all do it at the same spots. It plays, then freezes at a frame then jumps ahead, and keeps repeating this. Other vob files are okay.
    Can this be repaired?
    If I convert it to a different format, perhaps avi would that repair it?

    Hello,

    Possibly. You could try virtualdubmpeg2 to check for bad frames. If it has any it could be repaired and converted to avi in divx form or others (virtualdub spits it out as an avi).
