    Hello!

I am trying to convert MOV files (to DivX). (Why? Because I have a stand alone DivX player, the Yamada 6600).

I export the originals using Quicktime pro and end up with an AVI that uses one of a limited number of Codecs.

I tried using the Cinepak Codec: AVI was created but I could not play or convert the resulting AVI.

I tried using the Indeo Codec 5.0 & it crashed.

I then tried using the Indeo Codec 4.4: AVI was created but I could not play or convert the resulting AVI.

The beef is, I have the Cinepak & Indeo Codecs installed! GSpot reports successful rendering of the Indeo Codec 4.4 attempt!

After a week of trying various programs (GraphEdit, DrDivX, VirtualDub) I am now banging my head on my desk!

    What IS going on!

PS I also tried exporting to RAW & ran out of space after 19GB! <- stupid!
    Work you bloody thing....
