  1. Hi,

I've got an all-in-wonder 9700 pro video card, and I'm using Avid Xpress Pro 4 that a friend let me borrow to try out to make a video montage with pics, video, added sounds etc (I'd still be using Magix video deluxe 2.0 if it wasn't so horribly buggy)

I've made some files awhile back with the TV recording funtion on my ATI card software, but it won't let me port them (mpeg2) ... I can't get the capture in Avid to work properly so I was wondering if there is a good quality format in ATI that I can record to that Avid will understand.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

AVI uncompressed for sure. Maybe MJPEG or HuffYUV AVI.

  3. Hi, Lordsmurf! Thanks for the help, I'll try that. BTW, just like to say that it's thanks to you that I even know about the TV recorder in my ATI bundle software, and it's been a dream capturing video ever since. Just wanted to say thanks.
