I am trying to convert some files that I captured with winfast pvr and picvideo to xvid using vdub. When I try to append the pic avi, I get the error "Video streams have different sampling rates (29.96614 vs 29.96605)" and it will not append. My capture is about 2 hours long and has 5 2 gig files (automatic file splitting). Not all the files have this problem. First, why does this happen and how can I fix these files so that I can append them into one single xvid?
Thanks

Does anyone know what to do here? Have I given enough information?

Patch your avi files so that they all have exactly the same framerate (29.97 fps I suppose) with AVI Frame Rate Changer. It's very fast and you should be able to append your avi files afterwards.
By the way, if the new framerate differs too much from the original one you're likely to have sync problems, so in that case try 29.9661 fps instead of 29.97.
