Hi guys I'm new. Looking for a way to put more than 80 mins of music onto a standard cdr. I know it can be done with movies and vcd's but is there a way of doing it for audio using tmpgenc template maybe?

No, CD-Audio is Linear PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) and cannot be compressed. Standard audio CD players would need special hardware to decompress it.
Otherwise, if you are just going to use your PC, download CDex and use it to make some MP3 or Vorbis files and store them as data on the CD.

Hello,
Or you could buy 90 or 99min cdr's. However, they are not 100% compatible. They should play in any computer drive but may or may not work in portable cd players/car cd players.
You would use the overburn option on your burning software. (there are warnings that it may damage your drive but I've done several times on these oversized discs without problems).
