    thanks your here sir Sefy...

i was trying to convert a DVD .vob file to VCD

first i open the sample.vob file using DVD2AVI 1.77 and successfully created sample.d2v

then, i tried to open the sample.d2v with VFAPI, but i got this message:

    VFAPI Reader Codec
    ????D:\MPEG\sample.d2v?????.

i plan to use TMPGEnc or Mainconcept to encode later using the fake AVI created by VFAPI...

i hope i explained my problem

  4. Are you trying to add Subtitles ? cause if not, you don't need the VFAPI reader for TMPGEnc, you can simply open the D2V file directly in TMPGEnc. Only if you plan on using MainConcept you will need the fake AVI file.

  9. You could do DVD2AVI again, but before that, can you try playing the source DVD from your HDD and see if it plays ok ?

    i've finally made it work...

change iDCT Algorithm to 1180 Reference
    instead of 32bit SSE2 MMX

seems to be compliance issue with the program...
