Hello,
I'm trying to convert some home video AVIs to MPEG-1
in order to make VCD. Everything works except that
I have following problem - at the end of all files
there is something wrong. Either the picture stops
earlier (just freezing say 5 sec before the end of the
clip), or the clip ends earlier (missing the clip
end).
My AVIs are NTSC and I'm using the "Video NTSC" option
for the conversion. I played a lot with various settings,
I'm still trying to find the problem. Maybe it's a
framerate problem? But both the source and destination
are NTSC?!
Any ideas what could be wrong?
Thanks,
- Alex

Avtanski,
I get the same issue here! I noticed that when I made a file in NTSC with TMPGEnc Version 2.01, it would take the last few seconds off when I created the SVCD. Now, I am not sure where the truncation occurs, as when I make the exact same SVCD twice, the stops in two different places! I used CD/RW media on a Hitachi DVD.
Just thought I would let you know you are not the only one!
