why must use CCE encoder?

I was trying to convert an AVI file to SVCD using DVD2SVCD. Since CCE encoder doesn't work for me, I selected TMPEGEnc as the encoder. After clicking "go", an error message poped up:

D2SRoBa v3.60 error
You must use CCE as Encoder.. Exiting

I don't know why CCE must be used. However, having seen this message, there doesn't seem to a differnce in the conversion process. As we speak, 80% of the AVI file has been converted by TMPEGEnc, so we will see if the end output file works.

You cannot use the D2SRoBa method in DVD2SVCD with TMpgenc... That method only uses CCE. Run DVD2SVCD without the D2SRoBa method.
