  1. Hi , im kind of lost about how to gp abput things ref, editing cutting joining, for example, I tried encoding 2 *.mpg files seperately and using tmpegnc and tries to join them using tmpgenc tools but the second part came out, with vid / aud out of sync. Then I tried to make a dvd of one of the files using the DVD pal setting in tmpgenc but it took up nearly 2500mb??, so the other one would have went over the 4.37 gb limit to fit on a dvd disc. what is the best way to join and burn vieos that u want to keep or backup. thers so much software saying it does everything and its confusing me,
a helpful reply wud be nice
    thanks dosie.

It's best to join your videos at the authoring stage after you have made them into DVD compliant mpegs. When you create the DVD menus simply drop in each mpeg as a seperate track, your player will play them in order.
