Circuit City has a brand known as ESA that makes dvd-r disks. I was wondering if anyone tried this brand and what they think of it.

  5. I've seen posts on two different forums stating that these discs are CMC Magnetics.

Is anyone familiar with this brand now? I just bought a pack of esa dvd-r for 7 bucks, I was wondering if they're a decent brand. I'm used to using Memorex, Maxell, TDK, and Sony brand dvd+/- r medias from Taiwan, I dont really care if they're made in Taiwan or Japan. These ESAs I bought are made in Taiwan though
