I have two mpg files that I put into TMPGENC AUTHOR.
I burn the DVD, works and plays great.
Here's the problem:
I want to extract this VOB (which is now one file/vob containing two mpgs). Problem is, on playback, when it gets to the position of the 2nd mpg, the audio cuts out.
What is going on? and how can I copy this VOB intact?
though the file size is correct for two mpg's, a properties
evaluation of the VOB shows only the "time frame" of the
first mpg. What is TMPGENC AUTHOR doing when it
takes multiple mpg's and turns them into one vob?
Apparently, it does more than just joining them together.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hi vcdforme,
Are the MPGs (particularly the 2nd one) DVD compliant? Check with AVICodec on your MPGs to get the details, and compare against the specs under the "What Is DVD" link at the top left of the page...There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
Carpe diem.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
