I used Maxell DVD+RW to copy original DVDs. When i went to play it on a Toshiba DVDplayer all of the DVD+RW played just fine.

However when I played them on a Go Video DVP850 not only did the video lag behind sound just a tad, but the picture jerked so much to the point of pausing just to load and continue the scene. Sometimes when inserting the disk, the disk would spin and spin until it loaded the movie.

Is there anyway to fix this, or does anyone with Go Video have this problem?

Does the DVP850 manual specifically say it can play DVD+RW?

It can play DVD+RW, it just has the above problems.

I checked for the model in the DVD Players of this section and everyone seem to agree it could play DVD+RW.

Just wondering why it worked well on one player when it didn't for another and if there was something I needed to fix with the DVD+RW?

  4. Go Video is poor quality, problem prone equipment.
