I've already ripped the DVD using DVD Decrypter?
How do I seperate the video and audio and replace with my own audio?

You don't need to separate the audio to replace the audio soundtrack with your own .....
Depending on what DVD authoring software you use, depends if it has an option to import an audio soundtrack
I use TMPGenc DVD Author, and that will accept any audio track as a WAV or MP2, but not MP3
I think most of the all-in-one packages also have an option to import an audio track, read the instructions andd see where it is hidden
Also, I beleive DVD-Lab can import an audio tracks as well
What are you trying to use as you're DVD Authoring software, or are you just trying to rip a movie/DVD and burn straight to DVD after ?? -
This worked except for one thing.
Setup:
I'm re-authoring HP & The Sorcerer's Stone with the files from Wizard People, Dear Reader. Wizard1.mp3 contains CHs1-18. Wizard2.MP3 contains the rest of the chapters. I combined the two MP3 files and re-encoded to a WAV file.
I encoded the WAV to ac3 format using Besweet. I've listenend to the AC3 file and every chapter is there.
When using TMPGenc DVD Author, I select the video files and the AC3 file created.
I used DVD Shrink with DVD Decrypter to fit the video to DVD and Burn.
When I get to Chapter 19, the sound starts over at chapter 1. This is where the two files were combined.
Any idea why the sound would start over like that? -
Hmm.. I even tried TMGenc Plus to encode the .WAV file to .MP2, but still at Ch 19, it resets to Ch1.
I have a feeling it has something to do with the joining. I used MP3 Workshop 1.95 to do the joining/converting to WAV.
Are there any other suggestions on a way to properly join WAV files? -
I now tried Gold Wave. Combined the two files and snipped out the last few seconds of the first file and the first few seconds of the second. Yet when it gets to Ch19, it still resets the audio back to the beginning.
I'm at a loss. Is there anyway to successfully combine the two files so that the DVD encoding reads it correctly? -
Leave it to the wife to figure this out.
Using TMPGenc DVD Author, I encoded the first 18 chapters with the first audio file. Then encoded the rest with the second audio file. Once I had those made I re-authored a third time bringing in each movie as a clip. Worked like a charm!
