  1. I am really stumped on this and don't know where else to turn. I have been making backup dvds for about 2 years now, with the same procedure, so I pretty much know what I'm doing. However, I'm at a loss. I rip my dvds with dvd decrypter (I'm doing Kill Bill Vol 1). I rip all the files. I put that in Ifoedit to make sure it still plays and it does. So far so good. Since the movie is over 5 gb I spilt it into 2 disks, again using Ifoedit. Now here is the tricky part. When I put either disk 1 or disk 2 in Ifoedit, it plays the fbi warning and then the menu is supposed to come up, but instead I get a navigation error that the disk cannot play. I have the video_ts.bup, video_ts.ifo, video_ts.vob, vts_01_0.bup, vts_01_0.ifo, vts_01_0.vob and the vts_01_1.vob, etc. on both disks, and there is only one menu (vts_01_0.vob), the other titlesets do not have a corresponding menu, just vob files. I just don't know what happened it the spilting process that is causing the error, because I haven't stripped any menus or vob files. Can anyone provide some insight?

Kill Bill is a toughie and chances are Ifoedit cannot handle the DVD structure correctly

you could try Marks Tray DVD player as that may tell you where the navigation is failing. You could also try changing the commands so that it skips the FBI warnings and goes to the menu

you could also try splitting it with DVDStripper
