Just installed the new ATI drivers for the AIW 128 card. As has been stated elsewhere, they seem to have eradicated the "fake" macrovision detection that plagued the ATI cards of late. However, I am now dropping frames like crazy. The old drivers were rock solid in this respect (at VCD rates). Any idea of what could be causing the high frame drop? As I can't live with it, I'll have to go back to the older drivers, a pity as I'll have the old "macrovision" problem again.
Has anyone else experienced this??
