Nothing really spectacular about this one. I took it with a cheapo digital camera out back, in a canoe. I just like it.

I told you it wasn't very spectacular.

OTOH, how often do you see those little red x's out in the wild?

Here's a couple more....one is the same place as the pic I posted earlier but going the other way, and the other is some birds I caught a shot of as they went past the canoe.

Not exactly the greatest photo, but one that I like from our Trip to the University of Tennessee this past summer.

    I'm not much of a photographer...well, except....well, nevermind.

Is that orange bar straight or is that lens curvature?

    My guess would be neither.

Here are some photos around my home when I was living in Upstate NY. One is a lock along the Erie Canal. The other is Sodus Bay.

The bar is curved. Pic taken from the endzone...obviously. Very cool stadium. The people who were working there, said we weren't allowed to walk out on the field... ...they thought wrong.

I have some pics from our florida trip 2 summers ago I will post tomorrow, they are some of my favorites...most of them are from the plane, landscape, clouds and stuff...but pretty cool.

Taken with a HP618, 2.11 MP, HP imaging technology, Pentax lens, 3x optical, 2x digital zoom. What ever all that shit means but that's what the little sticker says. I bought the camera about 2-3 years ago...for $100 (and it wasn't stolen)

Sometimes all it takes to make a nice photo is the right crop:

Better yet, this works great for images that have incorrect ratios when theres a area you don't want to crop but not cropping will leave a white space in the frame.

Wow....Benji is an angel. But I'd bet if you ask my mom's cat....the cat would definately tell you otherwise...
    Nice effect.

It saved my Sister in laws ass... She purchased a pro digital cam but never took any test shots. She did a class reunion and some of the images were the wrong ratio for 8x10's. In other words she would of had to have the white area I mentioned above or resized them making the dreaded long face.

That's why I don't get sleepers. My parents had one. I moved it 2 times. When my pparents die, either someone else is inherting the sleeper, or I take the mattress and sell the metal for scrap recycling.

I just wanted to be honery and disagree on principle.

Since when does the paper company decide what is a "proper" size for an image?

    The photographer decides this.

I want legal length ink jet photo paper to be carried at Wal-Mart, Target, Office Max, Staples, and other retail stores. I have to order it online, and only from very few places. I also want 11"X17" ink jet photo paper to be sold there too.
