Your pic won't work because you put too much info between the image tags. You don't need the c:\.
Just put photo.jpg between the img tags.Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -
Thanks guys, I've worked it out now (first time posting image...duh):

I've already posted this photo (thanks, lordsmurf) in the pets thread, but it's my best work.
@lordsmurf
Before you tear me a new one, please note that I used a P.O.S. Vivicam 10 digital ($40 @ Wal-Mart, .31 Megapixel, Resolution 640 x 480)If God had intended us not to masturbate he would've made our arms shorter.

@ Shocker Milwaukee, I like the kitty.
@ Cap, I like the Egyptain alley shot too. Very nice.
@ all
Point-n-shoot cameras do not take away from the photographer. I've taken many good shots on crappy throw-aways, mainly when sneaking a camera into a no-camera zone! Not having photo experience does show, and is what kills most people. However, much like video, photo can be learned (to a point, natural skill does play a part). Like many others, I also suggest the National Geographic Society's Field Guide to Photography if you want to learn more about photo.
Here's one for you capmaster (hint: close to home for you!)

Constructive Critisism?
I know. I'm not great.
Also, all of these. Copyrighted by Me. Please don't use them. -
Damn, those are huge. Ryan_by_nep2111.jpg looks nice. What'd you do to it?
Cap, that alley shot is real nice. You got a large print of that hanging on your wall? His name was MackemX
What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend? -
Ryan, that was done with my 35mm SLR, it was so quick, I don't even remember the settings. It was ISO 200 film I believe.
You think those are big. The raw scans are HUGE. -
The shot of the cork is around what size they should be max. I'm on 1024x768 and they are way off screen.

I like "Ryan_by_nep2111.jpg" as well, but it would probably benefit from cropping the right side of the photo.
If you are a film shooter but you are interested in digitising your film, I highly recommend getting a film scanner... and buying a specialist noise reduction program like Neat Image.
I've recently bought a Minolta Dimage DualScan III (amateur class film scanner but quite reasonable) and the images I get out of some old film is immensely superior to the prints from the minilab. For consumer grade film, grain is your enemy but you can vastly improve the raw scan with a program like Neat Image.

How does Neat Image stack up against Q-Image or Bibble? Or Photoshop for that matter?
For all those big images, remember this: Tilting the camera means the image is lopsided. Rarely is that an acceptable effect.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

Can't say I know much about Q-Image or Bibble. However, you can't really compare it to Photoshop... as it doesn't do the same thing.
NeatImage is a specialised noise reduction program and if you buy the right (i.e., expensive) version, it comes WITH a Photoshop plug-in. You can demo a free version of NeatImage which does most things (but only allows you to save as JPEG).
All I can say is that NeatImage is absolutely amazing when it comes to noise reduction... from both digital cameras and film. It actually makes high ISO settings on P&S digicams usable -- it has the ability to remove the majority of the noise without really affecting the detail in the image. Create profiles with the digital camera, and it makes for extremely efficient workflow too.
I can't recommend it enough. If you are willing to create a profile for NeatImage, they even give you a license for free! (that's how I got my version).
