well i used tmpg xpress to encode my 15 .aviS into 1 big mpeg 2 file. i then use dvdlab to compile, then i use nero to burn.

the problem is every time i do this after about the fifth episode the sound is delayed after the video shows the scene. whats up with this ??? i thought maybe it was because i kept buring onto dvd rw. so i just burned a cheap free dvd i had aand it did the same thing. any help would be appreciated.

    sounds like a encoding prob.

does the big mpg file play correctly on your pc???

to encode your avi in tmpgenc , had you used vdub frameserver or decompress the audio??

    check that.

    need more info.

hey man i just got through playing the mpeg 2 file of the 15 .aviS i encoded together. on my PC the sound keeps up perfectly throughout the whole thing. i kept skipping around and watching the subtitles. they played flawlessly.

an thought just hit me. when i use dvdlab i always add chapters.

a better idea just hit me. Could it be the process of dvdlab demuxing the mpeg 2? later on it muxes which maybe throws something off. possibly i run out of memory for all that damn muxing and when it frees up some memory the sound isnt synced any more.

mmmm not sure if it could be dvd lab . pretty sure it is not.

have you try to burn it a second time??? maybe a media prob. or burning prob.

if it still have THE SAME delay , re-compile the dvd .

if the file is ok, it is one of theses two things.

sorry to cannot help you more then that

    good luck
