  1. I have a bunch of powerpoints that I would like to have on a VCD.

Obviously I would want the VCD to have a menu link to all of these, and to repeat back to the menu and not through the next powerpoint.

I have a few saved as individual images, transitions aren't used.

What software / steps would work for making a VCD with these?

I currently use TMPGEnc to encode and Nero Express to burn, but i'm willing to give other stuff a try.

  2. Hi!
If you don't need the transitions in the PowerPoint pictures I suggest you save each picture as JPG with some grabber program, or with PrintScreen button i Windows.

Then use VCDEasy to convert the JPG to MPG stills. Now the rest is simple. Add your menu mpg stills and the created picture MPG stills and set the Interactivity for your VCD.

The result will be very good. However you can't have any transitions and music with this method.

  3. Record the Powerpoint presentation with Camtasia recorder and later convert it to VCD. The Resolution of VCD files are much smaller - hope you are aware of it . Right?
