Does anyone actually think that civilian moon travel will be possibly in our lifetime ?

I guess if you look at the bigger picture, if and when civilian travel does become possible and if and when this ever gets declared as legally binding, there's going to be quite a few happy children who inherit ownership.
    If in doubt, Google it.

I think they ought to leave the moon alone in the future, and not develop it.

It should remain in its pristine state. It's for the crater good.

Can't remember the name of the guy, but he stated a claiim on the Sun. And so reckons he should claim royalties of everyone since we all depend on it's energy!

Personally, I hope he wins his case, I love an underdog

So are you saying that they're just selling random acres and once people start traveling there whoever gets to the prime property first owns it?

Considering the temps, I'd assume all light. Unless of course you're a Pink Floyd fanatic.

Screw the moon, they've got Mars and Venus too. I was thinking Mars, but then I remembered 'Women are from Venus.' If I get there first I'll be set. Guess who's gonna win the X Prize! :P

Gates wouldn't buy up the moon. They'd claim that the moon was partially based on technology that M$ previosuly patented and file so many different infringement lawsuits that his lawyers would go blind on paperwork and he'd ultimately end up forfeiting the moon to M$ having exhausted all his resources.

    Hello,

If it's Microsoft than they'd have to build ANOTHER moon. You know they never get it right in the FIRST version!!! (so start buying up MOON 2.0! )
