    Just bought a NEC ND-3500A BK from new egg (could not bet the price). Just wondering how good this dvd burner is and if there is any problems with it. If you own one just put in your review thanks

    also wht is the diffrence from the NEC ND-3500A BK and the NEC ND-3500AG

  2. I have the ND-3500AG but I don;t know what the difference is from the other model drive. So far this drive has been wonderful burning any media brand I throw at it.

  3. Is your 3500 happen to be black? That's the only thing I come across after googlng 3500bk. Anyway, I have the 3500 and had the 2500 series before that. I have to say I love em! I use herries firmware and can burn my memorex +r at 12X, and my prodisc at 6X...No coasters yet. The burns are great according to Kprobe.

    I use right now prodisk 4x. I was thinking about buying prodisk 8x can this burner burn prodisk at 8x?

    Unfortunately, Prodisc is playing guessing games with the media codes and there are 4 different codes for -R 8X. I know the S04s work on a 3500 and they aren't too bad.
