  1. I've got 3 Bond movies in VCD format that I want to put on one DVD and I plan on using TMPEG DVD Author to put them on the disc. Is there anything I need to do to the mpegs in order to make them usable by the program? I've read guides about having to convert the audio to 48000 or making sure the frame rate is 29.97, not the film standard of 23.97 but I'd like to get some feedback from users. Thanks.

  3. I found that guide but haven't seen any info on whether I need to do anything to the mpegs before importing them into the program. Does it convert the audio automatically? Does the framerate matter? That's what I'm trying to figure out. Thanks.

Audio will be automatically converted to 48 khz as long as the framerate is 29.97,if its 23.976 then the video has to be re-encoded.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

    Is 29.97 equivlent to 23.976(internally 29.97)?

Only with mpeg2 when played back by a dvd player,mpg1 has to be either 29.97 for ntsc(no 3:2 pulldown) or 25fps pal.
