I have always been a fan of the original but really like Miami for the most part. I was really upset that they decided to write the guy that plays Timothy Speedle(Speed) out on the season premiere last Monday night. I just got around to watching it but thought that was a crappy move the writers made.

The original CSI rocks. I totally relate to Grissom.
Been a nerdy type my whole life. CSI miami has
a completely different feel to it. But for now, I enjoy
them all. They are the few pedestrian shows I watch
on TV. I usually have a movie in the dvd player.
I HATE commercials with a passion.

I have only watched the original CSI. I just recently got into it. I don't watch alot of prime time network t.v. I started watching it when spike TV picked it up and had a 5 day marathon of it. Now i am hooked. Great show.

I started watching the original in its second season...been hooked ever since.
CSI Miami is OK, but I don't really care for David Caruso. Last week's CSI: NY didn't impress me a bit...will give it another chance this week though...

I like the original Vegas CSI best. Miami, O.K., though the way Caruso speaks drives me crazy:
"Well then...................why don't you.............................tell me?" (Reminds me of Stevie, the black kid in the wheelchair on Malcolm in the Middle, with the long pauses - except he has a reason, he's handicapped).
And the way Caruso always has his hands on his hips when he stands stationary for more than two seconds, he doesn't seem to know what to do with his hands.
The other thing that bugs me for some reason, is the oversaturation of red in most scenes on Miami CSI, and the blue tint of CSI:NY. I assume they're trying to give the impression of heat in Miami and cold in NY, but it's just irritating to me.
William Peterson blasted the spinoffs as not being as good as the original, and for once, I agree with the star. Usually they're just blowhards, but I think he's right. They're going to clone it to death until we get sick of the formula. What's next, CSI:Kalamazoo? You can only take it so far before people tune out. Take a good idea and drive it into the ground.
Anyway, I'll stick with Vegas and Miami. Doubt I'll watch NY.Ethernet (n): something used to catch the etherbunny -
i dont mind the show to much - but it is sooo fake as to defy belief ..
drive around in hummers, furniture/tables/etc in the labs is ultra expensive stuff, plasmas everywhere which show nothing , lighting in every room as on some movie set (not the stark white and cheap furniture as it really is)

Hello,
I hardly watch any prime-time tv. It's either pathetic, sleazy or uncomprehensible.

EDIT - Besides, how many spinoffs can one series have running simultaneously anyway????? It's a little ridiculous. Just my opinion but 2 spinoffs and the original all on at once????Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
I can't stand David Caruso's voice.
I do not watch any of the csi shows.
They have too many now as it is.
They are just recycling storylines. -

Like original .... but don't like David Caruso and his lame attempt at dry humor on the show.
