When i try to encode using cce sp or tmpgenc my computer losks up & just freezes. I then have to reboot. It happens as soon as the video encoding starts. Audio encoding no problem. I could always encode using those programs in the past but now they just lock my darn system up. Anybody got any ideas on what could be causing this. Like i said this just recently started happening. My setup : Xp HOME SP2 - 512 MB DDR PC 2700 - Plextor PX-708A - Generic DVD ROM - 40 GB HD - Geforce TI 200 PRO - Sound Blaster Audigy - ABIT KR7A RAID (mobo) - 400 Watt Power supply - AMD xp Athlon 2100 Please help i really don't want to reformat my harddrive or anything.

Look for program upgrades.
Also look in your registry for update 811493 and delete it.
This update has been known to cause problems.
