  1. I am converting VCD to DVD (with plenty of help from this forum).
    I converted 44,1 mp2 audio to 48 mp2 as per instructions using BeSweet GUI. Now TMPGE DVD author tells me that the new file labelled "mp2" is not mp2 or any other allowable format.
    Searched forum, no answers.
    Over to you, wise and toothless ones. What gives?

    You didn't need to convert using Besweet - you could have just dropped it into TMPGEnc DVD Author as is and it would have converted it for you.
    If in doubt, Google it.

    I don't think that's true for earlier versions of TMPGEnc DVD Author. I use 1.6 now and it works, but I seem to remember trying to put a VCD mpeg in at least one of the 1.5 versions and it wouldn't take it.

    I did this a few months back using this guide;

    It depends a lot on how your VCD MPEG was created - the main problem I had when doing this with TDA 1.5 is I would encode my MPEGs without a closed GOP, which caused TDA to refuse to load them.
    If in doubt, Google it.
