Alternate identity, Baldrick, or has Indolikaa really been running Videohelp all this time?
Maybe an old ISP you used?
"Adult content"? No. That usually means lots and lots of porn.
Popups? :P

Even stranger, I can't even load that site. MY JOBS WEB IS HALF BROKE AGAIN.
trying to draw attention away from the fact that in secret I use this site as a porn/popup server -
weird since dvdrhelp and vcdhelp show no pop ups or porn in their rankings ..

That info is gathered by the alexa toolbar so it really means nothing, probably the private message being counted as a pop-up. Don't know it for a fact but I've seen it suggested that even a spyware pop-up can be counted....
Apparently no one with the alexa toolbar visits my site, it's not even ranked -

I've noticed pop-ups since the move to theplanet.com. I've got SP2 installed so I get the "popup blocked" message in the yellow bar probably every 15-30 minutes or so and I can assure you it's not the private message notification. I didn't think that Baldrick would deliberately inundate us with pop-ups.
If in doubt, Google it. -

Next time it goes to pop up see what it is..... Punch the monkey and win!!!!
I doubt your ISP is sending you pop-ups unless it's AOL. It's not the Google toolbar, it has a pop-up blocker and they would get slaughtered if it did. -

I got a few pop-ups for NTL about two weeks ago when I had no other windows open - nothing since.
