Hi! I've installed DVDStyler on Linux (Redhat 9) and I can't seem to find where it went! I've tried clicking on what i think is the launch for it, but it does nothing?! Can somebody help!?

    Thanks,

    Rog
There are many ways to measure success. You just have to find your own yardstick.

  2. Are you running Gnome? You probably are, since that is the default desktop for Redhat. I never could figure out how to get the menus working right in Gnome...

At any rate, don't expect all programs to perfectly insert themselves into the menus of your chosen linux distribution... some programs will make a menu in your chosen desktop environment and some won't.

If you installed from an rpm file, you may need to use the rpm command to determine what files are installed, and therefore, what command you need to type to run your program... The command is probably installed to the /usr/bin directory.

If this makes no sense, you should look for a redhat forum.

  3. you could also open a konsole and type dvd styler. This works for some installed apps like cinelerra.
