    Hello... can some one tell me how to add permanent subtitles to a mpg file, its no problem for me to add to a avi. I use TMPGnc to avi , but to mpg i dont know what to use.

    Use VirtualDub & TMPGEnc. VirtualDub works as a server and TMPGEnc can encode into varius MPG formats. There is detailed guide on this site in GUIDES section under VirtualDub for example.

    you can use tmpgenc if you have powerdvd installed, or install the tmpgenc mpeg2 plugin.
