Hey,
Im confuzed with the Direct ac3 function in winavi...someone posted this in another thread:
Enable direct AC3" means that if you have a divx.xvid movie with AC3-either 2 channel,or 5.1 channel audio, you can save time by just stripping that from the movie and not reconverting it to another AC3 file.(Winavi will do all this on the fly,and you wont know its happening,so its not an extra step,it just saves about 10 minutes.)
leave it unchecked unless the movie is 5.1 or AC3 2channel.
if the sound is mp3,or anothr format, then just leave it unchecked.
But how do I know if the movie is AC3 with either 2 channel or 5.1 channel audio? Cause I have no idea...
Please help
Thanks
