  1. I have made a mini DVD on a CD, it plays on my computer fine. I've checked the file contents of the CD and they are VOB files just like a regular DVD. However, the Mini will not play on some DVD stand alone players. I have no problem with my regular DVDs playing on any standalone. Is there something I can do to fix problem, or is it the type of dye used on the CD. These are silver in color, can I buy a CD with the purplish color of a DVD and would this help? Thanks for your help. Foz

My reason for doing this is I have a lot of short 10 minute or so home movies and I like to give them to members of the family they pertain to, and a 10 minute video is an awful waste of a blank DVD.

  3. Thanks Guys, I guess I'm just out of luck on this one. I will have to stay with the SVCDs with less resolution. Foz
