    could do this effect and not worry about it much ...

    btw -- i know there is a wall behind him with a seam in it -- but punching up that wall so that it shows - makes him look bad .. unless i made a mask for him .. thats in the stage lighting really ..

    I don't know what the heck that 'could do effect" you put up there is haha - looks kinda scary,,, yeah well ideally i wanted the black "wall with a seam" to just be pure black,, but it never quite works out that way for me

    here the level is adjusted for both pc and tv and right on broadcast spec IRE

    here is the veg file for vegas for the settings ..

    open it with vegas -- you said you were using vegas i think (thought)

    that back wall would be easy to completely remove .... if you wanted to

    well not really, I mean it looks great on the computer monitor, but the TV looks over saturated, or too much contrast...

    so I"m not sure,,,, how can I calibrate my monitor and tv,,, is there like a bottom line method that works?

    I started fiddling with that unsharpen effect, and I notice that if I increase the "radius" I can make the picture on the TV and the picture on the computer monitor look pretty close - is this advisible to do? It looks like when you increase that radius control, it increases the amount of light or something, gives the image on the computer some life, instead of so dull...

    quick question, how the heck do you operate these Re-writable DVDs. I'm using Nero to make these tests, but what I don't understand, is that when it "erases" a disc, it just erases the beginning part of it,,, I haven't been able to use an RW more than once, feels like a waste of money unless i'm doing something wrong?
