    1) Use MacTheRipper in TITLE/CHAPTER mode to extract the title you want (the one with MF in its name is usually the main feature).
    2) Use DVD converter (part of the MPEG2Works suite of tools) to convert the VOB from NTSC to PAL.
    3) Use Sizzle or DVD Studio Pro to master a new DVD, and then burn to DVD-R.

If you're in Europe, or in most PAL countries, you should be able to switch your DVD player to NTSC mode in its system menu, allowing you to play NTSC DVDs without this troubling conversion process.

    [Edit] Removed unnecessary step 3, thanks Serbian . . . [/Edit]
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."

I was going to buy a PAL dvd last week, but I was wondering if my computer would ask to change the region code of the drive? If I remember right, my PC told me I was only allowed to do this once or twice a long time ago. Will Mac's do this also?

Yes. Tell it to go to hell. Then, rip the disc with MtR and be happy. Or, you could just play the disc with VideoLan.
If it isn't broken, take it apart and find out why.

I'm always happy to show that I actually do have some knowledge to contribute.
