I'm having problems making an XVCD. The quality is turning out great other than these scanlines I get when characters in the film move.
Here are my XVCD TMPGEnc 12a settings.
Source is NTSC DVD.
Mpeg-1 528x360
4:3 525 line (NTSC)
29.97 fps
Automatic VBR @ 65
VBV buffer 112KB
High Quality motion search
Video source: Non-interlaced
Odd --> Even Field
Source Ratio: 4:3 525 line (NTSC 704x480)
any ideas? I'm all out of them...

nevermind, I fixed it. It was a ripping problem, not an encoding one. I forgot to do Forced FILM in DVD2AVI.
