It's about time someone will take down what appears to be the industry standard, Internet Explorer. I like the part where all "Nooglers" are given little hats with propellers on top.

I really don't see how Microsoft could buy out Google. I haven't been keeping up with the news, but Google was suppose to start selling stock, estimates say that would make Larry Page and Sergey Brin instant billionaires.

Larry Page and Sergey Brin don't seem like that type of people. They are set for life already, having that much more money doesn't really seem like it would matter.

They could just be covering there bases, a lot of companies do. I wouldn't doubt they have intentions on launching a browser but that doesn't mean they are. If they did most likely that site would turn into a redirect anyway.
I've done it myself, who do you think registered digitalnepa.com -
I forget where I found out about it, but there is another neat search engine out there that you may want to have a look at.
It is called www.a9.com .
It uses Google plus a bunch of other search engines to find whatever you are looking for. I like it.

That includes the election of directors, potential mergers and asset sales -

Says its Microsoft Corp right on the page. I like that one, no ads, & nobody trying to buy the top results. -
