I have my 108 in an external firewire enclosure, and have been skeptical to try flashing the firmware through the firewire connection.


I finally bit the bullet downloaded the firmware at http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/article/0,,2076_4273_128163990,00.html and gave it a shot.

I'm happy to say it worked perfectly.... FWIW
