how do i join *.mpg files into one with virtualdub

Hi ,

I have a few *.mpg files that I would like to join into one file, I have virtualdub and it works great for joining *.avi files but when i tried it for *.mpg files it will open the first *.mpg file , but then I dont have an option to append *.mpg segment, I have append *.avi segment but it is greyed out, maybe because the original file was an *.mpg to begin with. Or does virtualdub not hanldle *.mpg files to begin with, any help or ideas would be great .

You can use TMPGEnc to do this. Launch it, and close the wizard. Go to File --> MPEG Tools.
