hi all,
i'm trying to create a menu with video thumbnails with motion video but when i render the menu out i just get an 'error os......' something or other and it dont work. if i deselect 'animate buttons' and just have a still image for each thumbnail, it works absolutely fine, the buttons highlight and select and play their respective chapters. but as soon as i select 'animate buttons', the motion render fails everytime. before i was getting the 'error os(series of numbers)' i was getting 'error setting highlight' and sometimes i got 'error setting subpicture' but since i upgraded from encore 1.0 to 1.0.1 i now just get the 'error os...' message?
any guesses much appreciated.
steve.

A couple of minutes spent in the Adobe Encore support forum found this

and this

And there is probably more, as motion menus seem to be buggy as hell in Encore. You should also consider upgrading to 1.5, although that still seems to have issues with motion menus.Read my blog here.
