  1. I have 2 dvd writers both the same model but different firmware and i have a dvd rom and a 120 gig hard drive. At the moment my 1st dvd writer is on the same ide cable as the dvd rom the other dv writer is on the same ide cable as the hard drive. What i want to do is use the dvd rom to read so that i can write 2 dvds at the same time, the same film though not different. Is my writers and reader set up right, if not how should they be set up. TIA.

    sounds ok to me but if you had a pci controller card it would be better to put the hard drive on it. then have the one dvdrw by itself. just my opinion.
