Just bought a 50 pack at BB. I was curious if anyone has tested these or compared them to TYG01's ? I can only burn these at 4X so I hope the results as as good as the G01's which are discontinued and getting scarce.

Burned a couple with no problems, Anyone else been using these? Seems like there is no drop off in quality in this TY media.

If they are legit, they should be fine. There are fake TYG02 media too, and though not necessarily horrible quality, you don't want to pay full price for fakes.

Only if they are fake b00bies, then it's ok to pay full price.

I would not think that the Fuji's are fakes at Best Buy. They come in the same cakeboxes like the TYs from Rima. Just make sure that they are made in Japan.

  7. i have bought the 50 pack of tyg02 dvd-r

they seem to skip when played in my apex ad-703 (4x burn speed)
but at 2x burn speed, the skipping is reduced, but there are still some.

i used dvdshrink 3.2, transcode into ISO, used dvddecryptor to write ISO.

i have old TDK 2x dvd-r (ID: TDKG02) that do not skip on my apex ad-703

btw, i have owned the apex ad-703 for about 4 years now, and ive never cleaned it, is that what's causing skipping?
